Our targeted approach to securing live entertainment opportunities for the venue is a combination of identifying seasonal gaps within the event tourism sector, coordinating available dates with primary user groups, leveraging routing opportunities with our other mid level clients and supporting staff through the process of negotiation and show advancement. 

Engaging with private promoters and agents within the live entertainment industry can be risky business, especially for an inexperienced small venue. AVP is open and honest with our clients to ensure that event agreements are fully understood. AVP only works with the best agents and promoters and has established nationwide relationships built on trust. Often the challenge for small markets across the country is attracting the interest of the large concert promotions industry. And often great opportunities are deterred by radius clauses stemming from talent commitments within the urban market. 

Our approach to national routing excludes dates from the urban market to strategically draw fans and business to our rural promotions. 

In our experience we know that small communities often have a greater sense of volunteerism and community pride. That’s why we encourage financial surpluses from our live events to be channeled back into infrastructure development to ensure that the benefits of profitable events preserve the capital lifespan and legacy of the venue so that it can continue to create memorable experiences for residents. 

We have identified that there is a large talent pool of performing artists that are best suited to play mid level venues. Some have stood the test of time as household names and others are emerging performers that are on the rise to international stardom. All of which are best suited for secondary market arenas over large urban city centres.
